Rapid Employee Visa Processing
In order for any non-UAE national to work and live in the UAE he is required to hold a valid work permit and residence visa. Commonly, the employer will sponsor employees for a UAE residence visa, along with a labour card or work permit. A residence visa is essential to live in the UAE and is required to open a bank account, obtain a driving licence, register a car, obtain utilities (electricity/water) etc.
Once a company is registered within Dubai Silicon Oasis, the company is entitled to apply for employment packages so that they can start recruiting staff for their business. The staff to be recruited for employment can be categorized into six groups. The procedures to complete the process of documentation are different for each category.
DSOA offers special employment packages cover the following:
- Issue of entry permit for employment
- Health card
- Medical examination
- Stamp of visa on passport
- DSOA ID card (this is known as a work permit or labour card and also acts as access cards for tenants enabling access to the DSO headquarters building and their office facility.)
